 This collage, demonstrating purposefully an apparent foreground and background, use texture, value, overlapping, and proportion effectively. Although the farthest and nearest textures do not create as much space as I wanted, the purpose of the exercise as accomplished. I may try this again using bigger and more apparently contrasting shapes.
