This was next attempt at showing rythm through chiaroscuro. I think this worked better than the first one because it evoked much more emotiong because of its varied lines. Although a friend close me me accidentally splattered a bit onto the canvas. the altogether look is powerful.

In an attempt to evoke emotion and show rythm, I used light and dark lines purposefully. The lines are nearly straight, and run in both horizontal and vertical directions. The canvas can be turned either way and evoke a different feeling each way. The lines going either way can be seen as grass-like, tree-like, fire-like, water-like etc.
